Concealed Carry Permit Firearms Training Course

New Permit Applicants should contact us for information regarding what is required to complete the course.
The course will be 8-hours long and will have lecture, discussion, demonstrations and practical performance. Students will learn the fundamentals of shooting and how to survive a deadly encounter. The course includes NYS Penal Law Article 35 - Defense Of Justification (The Use Of Force), the basic fundamentals as well as skills training.
Required Items for Class
- 24 Rounds of Ammunition (No Magnum Ammo)
- A Pistol
- Holster and Belt (No Shoulder Holsters please)
- Baseball Cap
- Hearing Protection
- Eye Protection
The firearm training course is taught by professional instructors who have taught and worked with firearms for over 50 years. Class size is limited and is booked on a first-come first-serve basis.

Firearms Training Course Dates
| Saturday, March 17, 2012 (in 40 days) This is a one day Saturday class. The session starts at 9AM and runs until 5PM with a break for lunch. This class is geared for those persons looking to change their permit option and for new applicants to obtain a Conceal Carry Permit. Each student will be required to shoot 24 rounds on our range . New Permit applicants should contact Long Arm for range requirements. Required equipment: Pistol, Holster for pistol that fits on a belt, 24 rounds of NON- Magnum ammunition, a baseball cap, eye and hearing protection. The course is held at Insight Archery located at 73 Griswold St. Binghamton. No credit cards accepted at the door. |
